Saideh & Khatch: An Evening of Contemplative Music

 —  —

Noe Valley Ministry, 1021 Sanchez St, San Francisco

Saideh and Khatch are a duo of vocalists and multi-instrumentalists who honor their cultural roots spanning the Armenian, Arabic and Persian traditions. Their unique blend of music is grounded in sacred/contemplative and sound healing genres. By fusing their evocative voices with strings, woodwinds, percussion, and electronica, they imbue tone color and vivid emotion to the sonic journey space created for audience members, who often leave performances feeling calmer and more centered.

The duo will share pieces from their latest Persian & Armenian fusion album, Delbedel (Soul-to-Soul), while also offering new improvisational and contemplative tunes inspired by Persian, Armenian, and Arabic traditions.

As street parking is limited near the venue, we recommend you arrive early or take public transit. Noe Valley Ministry is about 17 minute walk from 24th Street Mission Bart station. Alternatively, you can take the 48 Bus ('Great Highway' direction) from Valencia and 24th to arrive in 5 minutes at Sanchez and 24th. From there, it is a 2 minute walk to Noe Valley Ministry.
